VIOLA PDO SMOOTH threads are a non-invasive treatment for promoting natural collagen production from the body for long-lasting results. PDO smooth threads are to be placed into the subcutaneous fat layer of the skin to promote the production of collagenous connective tissues around the inserted threads.

 

PDO (Polydioxanone) threads generally last about six months for its full biodegradation after insertion and its presence stimulates collagen production during that period. The result from this collagen stimulation may last up to 12-24 months.

 

Topical anesthesia is strongly recommended for the treatment. Swelling may last 3-5 days after treatment and bruising is different for everyone.
