VIOLA TWIN TWIST consists of two PDO smooth threads that are coiled around a needle for extra collagen stimulation boost for each thread insertion. It will effectively increase the threads' contact area with a subcutaneous fat layer, adding more fibrous connective tissues to develop. By adding extra thread along the needle, each insertion of threads could be more effective compared to single thread insertion.
PDO (Polydioxanone) threads generally last about six months for its full biodegradation after the insertion. During these six months, the threads stimulate collagen production, which provides the result that may last up to 12-24 months.
Topical anesthesia is strongly recommended for the treatment. Swelling may last 3-5 days after treatment, and bruising is different for everyone.
